I am now a fully Accredited Bikeablity Cycle Instructor and a British Cycling Ride Leader Level 2. As well as this I have completed my Mountain Leader Training and hold a Walking Group Leader Award.

I first got involved in cycle training and Cycle4LIFE at my son’s school in 2009. I attended my National Standards instructor training in September 2009 and fully qualified in July 2010.

Not only am I a fully accredited Bikeability Instructor but I continue to enjoy training and mentoring new Cycle Instructors, most recently the 6 new Instructors we welcomed to Cycle4LIFE in 2015

I no longer “choose to travel by bike”, but very occasionally “choose not to travel by bike”. Cycling is my first option for daily transport as well as fun and fitness, and even if it’s only as far as the end of the lane.
